Okay, I cannot figure out how you're supposed to get past the tight path between the two lines of people after you talk to Mio. It's incredibly frustrating to have such a tense narrative, only to spend half an hour trying to figure out what this game wants me to do. This makes this game incredibly frustrating and damages any immersion it previously had, which is unfortunate, because I quite liked what I saw up to this point.

You pass that section by walking straight through, there is just barely enough time to do so. It has worked during our testing and we have never heard of this issue before.
If that is what you were doing, then it is likely that the browser or specs of your computer are having an unintended influence on the game engine; this usually occurs because of the frame rate.
How far were you able to walk straight through before being stopped.
If that is the case then either the build up mechanic or the main character's movement speed are extremely out of sync with what is intended unfortunately. Perhaps you are running the game on an unusually fast or slow machine.
Changing the game resolution, using a different browser or switching to the other game version may resolve this kind of issue for all of our games. They usually run at 60 FPS during testing, this should be the ideal frame rate for them to work as intended.
We have updated the game with a potential fix to the issue you encountered, if the issue was related to the build up mechanic being too fast.
As we cannot test its efficacy on our own system, we would greatly appreciate it if you replayed the game under the exact same conditions as before to determine the result for us.
