Im not gonna lie I normally hate these types of stories. I really like that the MC isnt just a stereotypical asshole; he has some nuance and is trying his best. (Or so it seems so far).

I wanted the MC to be an empathetic underdog, who gets set on a life-changing power trip.
It will be quite the character arc for him, whichever path the player goes on.
