I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Of all these buttons, which one did you say was buggy for you? The back button?
You can try going to your room -> sleep. Going to your room and sleeping usually refreshes all interfaces/variables. In any case, I will look into it.
The language button thing sounds really weird... If you mean it looks like this:
That's how it should look, although I have changed the way all the icons look in the new version to make it less confusing.
If by default you see it in any other way than as I show it... there is definitely something wrong with the game and maybe you should download it again. I'm testing everything in the version available here and everything seems to work fine
