Trying to download this on windows keeps popping up as a trojan virus and getting insta deleted. Is there something wrong with the windows download or just pc being over protective?
For some reason, windows somewhat recently decided to use AI for checking files And yes, Godot likes to show up as a virus because it modifies RAM, like any game does. I did some workarounds for it but I guess it did not work for 100% of users
Ah that makes sense. Not ever had my pc kill off a download that aggressively before so was a bit more concerned that usual. Thank you for the clarification though, excited to try the game! :3
Yeah, the new windows defender is very poorly made and will call anything a "trojan" if it thinks it could be sussy And the fact it just deletes the files and goes "I SAVED YOUR LIFE!" is just silly
