Hi,

Purchased the game on my steam deck. I can't get the game to recognize my xbox controller when playing docked. I've tried disabling steam input, rearranging the controller via the steam menu but nothing works. It was even difficult trying to play it handheld. It looks great and I would love to play it docked. Any suggestions? Thanks!

As I could not test steam deck functions, because I have no steam deck myself, I could not integrate a compatibility for this.
But I am still working on it at the moment as there seems to be a need for this.

That is great news. As a lot of players use there Steam Decks docked. Thank you for the quick response as well. I'll continue to play the game handheld until controller integration has been implemented for the Steam Deck docked. Have a great day!

Does it work on the steam deck in handheld without problems? Like opening the special menu etc.

As I said the game was not tested on a steam deck and I am curious if it does.

Its not an automatic experience. I have to disable steam input for the game from the controller options. Then start the game and access the steam menu, controller, then enable steam deck control. As far as a the special menu i haven't encountered it. Thanks.

Thanks for clarification! The special menu can get accessed at chapter 4 in the base. From there you can freely save for example. Let me know if this works because it is vital that it does.

EDIT: I just released patch 1.0.1. Let me know if this changed anything regarding Steamdeck.

Hi,

I just installed the update and unfortunately it seems to be worse. Not only can I not play docked with my Xbox controller but now I can't play it handheld either. I can only see the main screen with zero access. I also noticed that the version didn't change after the update. Mine is still listed as version 1.0.0. I included a pic. Thank you.

I made a rollback.

Steamdeck is difficult to include it seems.
