As explained in lots and lots of topics, featured games on the front page are hand-picked by staff. And my advice is always the same: be active in the community. Don't just advertise, talk to people. That's how you make them want to check out your games too.
That's what every creator on itch.io would like to know, but there's no easy answer. It takes work, patience and luck. You just published your third game less than a day ago. Give it time. And do some promotion work. Have a website. Use social media. But mostly talk to people like I already told you.
