About the mission I'm not sure if it's a bug or something in wip, about Rylan, what did you do to make him hate you?
When I killed the Warlord, I took his brother with me so his brother wouldn't suffer from his condition anymore
As far as I know there is no option for him to forgive you so I would recommend you to go back and change your decision since until 0.35 with the magic school theme, Rylan tries to learn some cure for his brother.
