We all have our turn-ons/offs, some people think it'd be hot to see the girls pregnant, and others wouldn't; keep in mind though, that the game isn't finished yet, so Alex's little joke might be some foreshadowing.
Judging by the other games by caribdis it really only affects the post-game scenes and adds some more scenes in-between but has no real effect on the story otherwise.
