I did not. I didn't want to have to sit through it all again after getting stuck. I'll reply here when I give it another go.

Had the same bug, same steps. (the bug will lock you behind the quest to go find Honey on the first floor, since you at that point have both a completed version and one uncompleted version of that quest) I did however start a new save. This time I skipped prologue, and the tutorial. (Used skip on dialogue to get through that faster too)... 

Now after unlocking map... game exits to main menu... for some reason...
