Super cool game! I really love the style and the grossness lol. I do think that I got softlocked though?

! spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't played this far !

when I was in the meaty room(?) with the walking meat blobs(?) and the butcher(?) my gun disappeared lol. or maybe I missed something!

That’s actually apart of the mechanics of the boss battle. The flesh creatures chase you and steal your gun then they run and hide in one of the 4 corners. You just have to walk up to them and steal your gun back.

I wanted to stay away from using a traditional health system and try something different for this project

I've noticed that sometimes (it seems to be when I steal my gun back immediately after they take it) the gun disappears entirely and no prompt to pick it up appears. This happened to me three separate times.

Oh no.. thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately I can’t fix this bug until the voting period for the game jam ends in 2 weeks.
