No? v1.0 made players restart and I think v0.5 made players restart. Making old saves obsolete wasn't something I wanted but the save data was corrupting and glitching people's games because of how it was formatted so I had to change it. If you updated to v1.02 and played the entire game and then want to update to v1.06 you shouldn't need to reset your progress just replace the old version with the newer one
