You should check out a tutorial for PSX shaders because it looks like you've got the default lighting on your games. You should put a low resolution effect on or something similar.

Has some decent advice on atmosphere but since the engine is limited you can't do much. Try to make the environment darker in both of your games to atleast have some sense of atmosphere. Here's a pixelation shader if that'll work for you:
Check out post processing if CC6 has that. Also consider switching to Unity at some point, it's free if you have the time to learn. <3
well technically 1 one of these tutorials the extension doesn't exist anymore, and one of them is just how to make it pixelated which is already what I did in this game with the help of the Worst 30 Year Old Man that is drunk on the internet aka Niven Hedinger but besides that in my new upcoming project aka party incident full game, I use this shader https://samgrady.itch.io/coppercube-psx-shader which seems good rn but thanks for the help! also no I am not going to switch to unity any time soon because that engine is just too complex for me, god bless you windy!.
