It is definitely an interesting project, and so far from where the game was when I first bought it for Patch 0.2 to the latest patch is pretty good.
A lot of additions to character customisation, a lot of poses to unlock and try out, the beginnings of base building, a semblance of enemy variety and difficulty progression (Though still a piece of piss) and the addition of fluid mechanics.
It is still early days in this project, and still had a lot of ways to go before it could be considered an early access game if comparing it to projects on steam.
I personally have played it enough time to consider the purchase worthwhile. If money is an issue I would say keep an eye on it for a couple of patches before purchasing. Which maybe a few months.
But I would say that buying the game would definitely help this project move along faster. Especially as this is an actual game, with a recognisable intention and gameplay.
