I am extremely glad to hear you liked the game. I had a small mental break down over that dumb score when the game is playing, but I fixed it.
The feedback I got from some of my friends was that the meteor's did not do enought damage. That is not to say that it would be a lot easier if they did less damage. The record that I can remember is around 27.000, and that is from one of the other developers (who is at the moment not listed as an author).
