Hi everyone, I’m the designer of this game and after being able to test a bit more I realized there’s an issue when talking with one of the characters (Onvyr, the elf) that doesn’t let you access the end of the game which is were two of the subtopics come to play.

First off, if you interact with your bed you can skip an hour without talking to any of the characters, this will give you a new set of characters to talk to. Allowing you to access most of the game without needing to talk to Onvyr.

Second, here are spoilers about how the game would end if you were able to speak with Onvyr, if you’d rather see it in the game, we’ll do an update fixing the issue after the Game Jam's awards.

Spoilers from this point

At the fifth conversation with Onvyr, he asks about what you are. Aleck says that they’ve always assumed they’re a harpy and Onvyr responds that this isn’t the case, as he knows how harpies are supposed to look like and knows Aleck isn't one. Now Aleck knows they’re something else entirely.

After finishing the full routes of Shari, Phai and Onvyr; Deja has a conversation with Aleck about them having a power that is getting blocked by their own lack of knowledge on it. When they talk to Vorseth (the dragon) in the next loop he gives you access to a new book.

The book is about legendary creatures and in the third chapters talks about phoenixes, which were run to extinction by people stealing their ashes in between lives to try and become immortal, and that not long before completely disappearing they had taken a more humanoid, similar to that of harpies but distinguishable, to be able to blend in better.

Learning what they are and using what they learned from the other characters, Aleck unlocks their phoenix side and passes out until the hour where you would usually play a game with Vorseth. When talking to Vorseth, he tells Aleck that he figured out they're in a time loop and gives Aleck a button before Aleck is sent, once again, to the dreamscape with Deja.

Deja is really happy as the button is what it was looking for from the beginning (the button is Deja’s anchor to the world) and lets Aleck go telling them to continue their life and re-meet their friends as they’ve all earned a little break.

End of spoliers

Anyways,  if you got to this point, thank you and I hope you enjoyed playing our game!
