This game is SO GOOD and such a FANTASTIC find that, if I were to say everything I liked about it, I would go on for three days. So let me list all the things I did not like first:

Okay! Since that's done, let me gush over the things I adored:

  • The sprite animations and transitions. It made the otherwise static sprites feel so much more alive and helped the player picture what the narrator was saying. For example, changing the angles of both the sprite and the background to show Delia on the ground was super smart.
  • The visual effects. The fire, the sparkles, the blizzard... Again, it helped the narrator tell its story. Plus, they all looked very good and were used exactly where they were needed; no excessive use of them.
  • The conversational flow. It felt natural, no awkward sentences anywhere. I truly feel like two people IRL with the personalities of Lux and Delia would have chats like theirs.
  • The relationship between Lux and Delia. It felt so human. So natural. They became closer little by little in a way any other two people would. No forced scenes to make them friends. No romantic attraction pulled out of nowhere. They were made for each other, and fell in love because they were themselves - not because a writer told them so.
  • The story. Quite an obvious one, but I had no idea where any of this was going and, thus, got a pleasant albeit heartbreaking experience.

Anyways, I had tons of fun! Thank you for making this game! ♡

Wow, we're really flattered, thank you so much for playing and glad you enjoyed <3. Glad that the romance and visual effects worked well.
