go to your settings then to your systems then to storage. From the storage you should be able to set where you wish to save where your new content goes. And it should tell you where any content saves were sent. Since your cp don’t have a (c) make sure cp is not saving any data to that location.

The save folder is in the game folder. when there's an update just copy/paste the save folder to the new version. at least that's how i do it.
