Thank you for the clarification, Will the next update require a restart?
To be honest, I don’t know enough about Ren’Py yet to give a confident answer, so I’ll just say that it would be for the better if it required a new game.
However, the new update (coming out soon) will give you the following 3 options at the beginning:
- Start from the very beginning
- Read a recap of the text-based update
- Just flat out skip ahead to the new content
