I like the idea, it's cute! But i kind of miffed me when I sent the square root at X^2 and it didn't die in one shot :D
Honestly, fun to play once, I didn't like that all of the X's split into a random-ish amount, instead of consistenly spillitng into a number equal to their exponent. Kinda wish there was another twist, besides just shooting square roots, was kind of excited about the idea of integrals or derivatives in it, since the game does get a bit stale past minute 5-ish.

I can't believe that square root not one shotting x^2 went over my head! I'm reasonably confident the x's are splitting into their exponent value, but if your combo is high enough you can kill their spawns as it's happening so it seems more random since you can pierce more and more enemies with each exponent.

I definitely considered having more types of expressions and operators as the game went on. If I revisit the project and introduce trigonometry and calculus.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. This is my first project as a dev!

Absolutely possible, that I just killed an enemy offscreen and the little x's were pushed forward - that would make sense!
