The theme is Web of Issues...the web in that case is not taken literally but it's seen like an entire area of issues.
Each tile of the grid-web can be dangerous...so I think like it fits well the theme.

The jump works in that way...if you keep pressing the jump button, you do a long jump.
If you release the button you do a short jump
