Once I concocted my energy farming strategy the game became much more straightforward. Fun interpretation of the theme! I do think its a bit unintuitive to have all that energy wasted every day, as it wasn't super obvious that I needed to save food at first, though it does make sense in hindsight. I thought it was a cool contrast to have a relatively peaceful starting phase that goes into a frantic blitz right after.
