Tried v0.2 - The idea was great. In theory this would add a lot of value to my module, but in reality on the second day using it the module just froze upon turning it on. Had to re-flash the original firmware to get it to work.
Even though I have a 1:1 clone maybe there's something different with it that made it crash. Not sure.
I guess creator's not working on this anymore, though?

I'm sorry that you ran into this issue. There is a problem that can occur when the module does not get sufficient power during its boot sequence.
I assume that you already tried power cycling your case without success...
The only other solution would be for me to create a smaller version of the firmware that loads just as fast as the original, but this would require removing functionality - potentially an assortment of modes from the original and my firmware.
Let me know which selection of modes you'd like, and let me know if there are any other features that you think would be great to add.
