The art style isn't consistent and the SFXs are very harsh. Did you designed the bosses though? They looked great.

Incredible. If I may, I recommend you use bfxr for 8-bit sounds and you can try unity for the game engine, but if unity is too heavy for your hardware, try construct 2. Good luck on your path 🍀
