Ok, I was able to get the controller working in the end. Love the boss fights, they are incredibily well designed, and they seem pretty fair, to me they are quite hard because my controller suffers of the lethal condition of stick drift, but tbh, I didn't notice it taking a huge toll in this game, so this game was quite forgiving of me messing up. So that's a plus.
I've noticed that when you get hit you don't lose a life, which I thought it was a bug but then realised that if I lose all three cables it's when I lose it and that I can pick them up, that's a cool detail.

Nice! Glad you were able to experience it fully and have a good time with it! (My controller also drift a bit so I make sure to settle a minimum deadzone to the joysticks so it only moves-aim when you're really moving the joysticks, so happy that it worked well :) ) Thanks for coming back!
