I'm a little confused on the bartering system. Is it by the price I paid? They seem to often request that. Like I mean, I might have bought it for half price, but I'm not selling it for that. Has anybody figured out more? is it by percentage of value or something else

The item have a true value based on it's condition, and other variables. The customer and the player have their own randomized estimation to this true value, sometimes it's way off, lower or higher, and the accuracy is based on their stats.
