Hi! I own this game! It is possible to play it solo if you have a good imagination, and can shift between characters during play. The book does outline how to play solo via writing, however it is not built for primarily solo play as theres only one 'chapter' module that is built for solo play (specifically journaling). Most chapters ask for 2 or more characters to be in play! Hope this helps!
