ive tried everything the other commenter mentioned and i can't log into the old account i had (tried it a few versions ago), reset the password on that old account, or create a new one with a different email. i have uninstalled, reinstalled, used both the itch.io app and just downloading it off the itch.io website itsel, im running the latest version (1.2.95, but i cant comment on that post) and it's just not working. everything gives an error message. it really really sucks bc this seems like it would work way better for me than something like pinterest (which i have been using but has been seriously going down the drain with ai moderation flagging things completely arbitrarily) and i really want the chance to see if it would

If it is the issue with public/private network, try allowing it access to the local network (it needs to run a localhost server to work. by default I think it runs at localhost:3077)
if that still doesn't fix it:
1. make sure there is no firewall or other program blocking it from running on localhost on port 3077
2. if it's not that, could you share the error message you are seeing? if you could take a screenshot of the error that would also be very helpful.
3. if you have steps to reproduce the issue (example: 1. open the app 2. try to log in 3. etc) that could also help
4. are you on windows or macos?
With that extra information I can look into it and try to help
