I'll start off with your GDD document, it is well put together with a good coverage of the various sections. Really great use of concept art to convey your planned ideas. Remember that your GDD is a living document that can change and evolve during development, however it should be the starting point where you put all of your ideas together. A great workflow timeline like yours is what helps you stay on track and complete on time.
Game runs smoothly without any issues.
Really beautiful artwork with a lot of depth and character, it was well used to create the different environments and it was great to look at.
I loved the fact that the bubble kept the colour of each stage, it really helps with the feeling of development and growth and has a lot of psychological and philosophical significance.
Just as with life, growth and development require risk, if we want to take care of our needs and develop ourselves we have to go out into the world and take the risk of interacting with others. Whether we recognise it or not everyone around us has an effect on who we are, those we spend more time with have a greater effect. This is well conveyed in the gameplay loop.
The summary at the end of the game is a real gem, we all self-reflect sometimes but sometimes our memories are too clouded by our experiences. Having it laid out so plainly feels good.
Overall the narrative of this game is very high quality. Keep up the great work.
