Thank you so much for playing it! The story seems confusing because you can interact with the cashier before the gunshot happens, and you can interact with the monster too. I will update the demo ASAP!
No I did not interact with the cashier before the gunshot. As the burglar I did and it was very unclear if the task of taking the money was completed due to the fact you can redo it's dialogue after the first time. Thus I was stuck there for a while until I realized I needed to leave the store.
