No worries! I think I see what’s going on. The downloads tab in Chrome just remembers past downloads, but if the files were removed from your computer, they won’t open anymore. You’ll need to redownload them from your Itch.io account.
Here’s how you can check your purchases and get them back:
- Log into the same Itch.io account you used to buy the chapters.
- Go to this link: https://itch.io/docs/buying/already-bought
- Click on "Recover Purchases" and enter your email to get a list of all your past purchases.
If you don’t see Chapter 2 & 3 there, it might mean:
- You purchased using a different account/email (try checking other email inboxes for the receipt).
- There’s an issue with Itch.io’s purchase history, and you might need to contact Itch.io support.
