have you gotten a far as to have actually met Karyn in the story yet? If not, she won't appear in the relationships menu

I've met dog-form Karyn so far. Does the relationship menu expand at some point? I'm just recalling back to when there were girls I hadn't met yet, and there were slots for them in the relationship menu that had "?" over the empty spaces...and there isn't any empty spaces at all. :/

This goes for me too, it must be a glitch because there are a lot more characters coming into the story.

Don't worry, it isn't, they appear eventually the more you progress the story.

If you've only met dog-form, then you won't be able to see karyn's menu just yet. You'll need to play the game some more and get further into the story. Then, eventually, karyn will be available

Okay, that's encouraging. So, that means eventually the window expands and there are more listed, and it's nothing to be concerned with? Right now I'm at the "Good News?" quest which tells me to do girl's hints because I'm missing something, and the quest for my fishing rod in Sakura.

Yes, after the original 12 the rest of the girls will just randomly appear after you've met them a few times

Yes, just keep progressing and you'll eventually get there, it just takes patience

Cool, it just happened for me. "Karyn was added!" prompt, and I see her. It was honestly giving me worry because I'd put many hours into my file before getting the latest version, and it didn't update to show I was missing Relationships with new girls added, so I worried my file wouldn't work. At that weird precipice of whether to start over or not, and wanted to make sure I wasn't just wasting time. I really appreciate your response, I'll make sure to upvote you all for helping me, each comment. :D

PS: any idea which girls I need to deliberately seek out to get added, or are there spoilers to be concerned with (Yuuka for instance, I hope)?

Np! I'm glad I could be of help! Also, the PS part, I mean, all the girls that you can get H-events for will be unlocked during the story, so you don't need to deliberately seek out any

Okay, so there isn't any secret side hustlers outside of the main storyline with content you can accidentally somehow miss or overlook. Good to know :)
