Congratulations. Is there any expectation to expand it with more levels? Even if they were the original ones (you can see them at https://sokoban.dk).

Maybe? I'm for sure still working with the character and setup, improving graphics, etc, but I may end up doing something much more Zelda-Adventure-y as a follow-up rather than more Sokoban? We'll see, though; this was a lot of fun to make...

You can always include those sokoban type puzzles in the jrpg. If you plan to continue I also recommend a good system of progress and use of objects (backpack, combination of items, etc.). Best of luck.
