Ah, I see what might be going on. If you are playing on a laptop you may have to plug in a usb mouse. If you are on a desktop you may have to unplug any game pads. It's a usb issue from everything I've read up on it. People have solved this issue by removing connected peripherals. Depending on the case it may be an easy fix, or you may need to do something as serious as disable your track pad in device manager and use an external mouse. Hopefully it doesn't require that, and if it does there's no reason to expect you to do that just to play one game, so we would be more than happy to work with you on a refund if this gets too frustrating. You can always try running it on a different computer if you have access to one.
