This is nice. I really like the cute characters and the music is fun. The difficulty ramp felt pretty harsh early on. It took me a couple of rounds to realize that I was accumulating points that I could spend between rounds, after that things felt a bit easier but still pretty brutal. Maybe it would be worth taking players directly to the shop at the end of the round rather than to the main menu just so the expected loop of upgrade-die-upgrade is obvious.

Yes, we made the beginning very difficult basically impossible to complete without upgrading. We appreciate your feedback, we should have considered bringing the player directly to the upgrade room. Thank you!
