Nimble Kick finds your sample by absolute path, which also includes the drive letter. If the drive letter or the absolute path changes, Nimble Kick will not be able to find your sample anymore and you'll have to drag it into the plugin again.

There's a setting in the settings you can check to make Nimble Kick save the sample within the plugin state, meaning it gets saved into your project file. That would avoid this issue and also allow you to easily collab with others.
