Cool concept. The whole game was giving me Night of the Museum vibes! As promised, here are my thoughts on the game:

  • An interesting take on the theme, and things do go wrong easily, if you are not careful.
  • What really stood out were the visuals and the audio. The sound effects on the main menu were really good. I wish it was used in the pause menu as well (I don't remember if it was implemented)
  • The voice over was really good. It felt like I was playing Call of Duty or something, but in a museum carrying animals around.
  • The game has a really insanely solid gameplay loop. You pickup crazy animals (in order) -> Throw them into the right display -> Repeat. This is a really good and addictive gameplay loop. Now, if you are still deciding to work on the game even after the game jam, I would recommend branching out on this gameplay loop, as you progress through the levels (The first 3 levels (days) which I played, all had a similar loop, which gets boring and repetitive very fast.)
  • I would consider thinking of adding more mechanics to the game. Like I said, the loop is really well made. Now you should add flavors to it.
  • The difficulty should be balanced. Once you figure out what you should do, it gets very easy to play the game. I would recommend spawning enemy animals (temporary ones) from time to time to annoy and challenge the player.
  • I would also have loved to hear sound effects of animals, when they get picked up. I want the cow to go: MOOOOOO!!

Overall, this is a fun game, with a solid foundation for you to build upon. I would recommend adding more things, features, and mechanics to the game.

By the way, here is my silly little game. I would love for you to play it, and give some feedback. Thanks.
