Ui is entirely barebones, with the options only having things for graphic display

there is no tutorial/guide/explanation on what to do, what u should do, and what the goal of this entire thing is

Movement is slightly clunky but not that bad.

Combat is decent but highly unbalanced along with a lack of explanation if one is not familiar with games in general. Often was swarmed by enemies though there were some help from allies there were not enough so it can get overwhelming.

Overall decent for $3 as a hack and slash goes but quite confusing at the beginning.

Hello, thanks a ton for taking the time to leave the review! I agree with all the points you have mentioned.

Regarding your second point, although there is no explicit tutorial/guide, there are these purple and blue stations you can hit and they will give you the overall picture.

Regarding your fourth point around combat, that is true, I have not worked on something like a guide to explain the combat but I could make one here on the itch.io page if youre interested.

Did you figure out buying stuff in shops btw?

Thank you for the reply and the explanation.

Regarding when I first loaded in, I did not see the station until I walked around but I was mostly being swarmed once i saw them so i got preoccupied, then again probably could give a highlight or text for a 'hit me for a guide' kind of thing.

With combat its not that i need an explanation rather I suggest u make a short control scheme on the itch page like eg." primary attack = left mouse " or some sort since I just got randomly thrown into the game with no explanation on which button to press to move, punch, or dodge. (I am aware that it shows the buttons for attack and skills on the bottom left but when I starts a new game I tried taking in the game surroundings, premise and idea before I noticed the buttons there)

With the buying stuff, yeah I figured it out. (only question I actually had is for some reason i can attack it which makes it hard to fight near there without worrying I will break it on accident.)
