Here's what I think you should add:

  • Implement magic weapons and an altar to craft them on into the game.
  • Put a rod tab and a crystal tab in the order list to use them for these. (The rod would act as a grip and the crystal would act as a ingot, the crystal tab would have a large variety like the ingot tab)
  • Be able to put crafted regular weapons onto the altar and slot crystals into them to make them better and sell for more.
  • Add a variation of every weapon that has a hole in it for a crystal to be slotted into them (Except for the especially small weaopns that would be unable to fit them like the short blade

Add random encounters, for example a bandit stealing a weapon or money and also add a combat mechanic so you can chase after them and get what they stole.

Finally, I think you could add a questline to the game so that you always have something to aim for. E.g.

Gaining - gold, completing - requests, making - weapons
