Nice game. First two times I played I had not read about the powerups. When I found out (read the instructions) about those, it got a lot easier :)
Did you get the little tutorial pop-up about "press space to use your special power pill?" It was a last-minute addition. Pops up only if you HAVE a power pill for ten seconds without using it, only the first time.
I do not remember having noticed it, but then again - I may just have been distracted when it came up :)
