cool! im thinking about making a game too. how did you settle on an initial idea?

The most important thing i think is to develop what you whant to develop within the limitations you have.
but i settled on this idea where i just imagend a senario and thougt can i make a game out of it.
then i just made a prototype and got it playetested from some friends :)
