The problem might be that Pixelbox is trying to create the project in an invalid location. Can you try to click on the "Location" input box? A file selection should open. From here, select a valid location like "Documents"
I had a similar issue with Windows 10, the first time PixelBox ran after install it would not present a file dialog to choose a location. After closing it and running it again, it worked fine.
