Wow... my fav endings were "CREAM PUFF PET" and "MILK BALLOON" I have played this so many times and really wish to acquire the "Twine 2" file used to make this, if you have the project file I'd love to look into it

The file is actually just the html itself. You should be able to open it directly in twine, there's no special compilation process. Try downloading the page itself, if that doesn't work I can find a copy for you tomorrow.

Also thank you!

Figured it out. This simple engine is very intuitive and fun to use, I'm quite interested tinkering within the engine, as-well as expanding upon your story + adding more content. Thanks!

I appreciate the offer, but I'm not looking for contributions at the moment. Been a bit busy with art and work and not going insane during quarantine.

Edit: I realize you're talking to someone else (the email I got just said "there's a response", but in any case I ask you please do not just add to and repost my game (if that's what you were thinking).

Hey, sorry but I am working on modifying the game simply because I wish to get into using Twine (it's a learning experience), I wouldn't feel comfortable collaborating through someone else's work like this. If you wish to modify the game yourself just download Twine 2 and import this page.

I don't have any problem with people picking apart the game and learning or even modifying it for themselves, just don't want anyone posting it without permission/notification is all. I encourage you to tinker with it, as these games can be fun to make.

I'm very sorry I said anything and misunderstood all this.. I will of course be tinkering, but I apologize for misunderstanding

Hey, it's fine, no need to apologise.

I've recently mentioned some suggestions / thoughts when playing that game, btw: kind of getting inspired by it being textbased in storylines and also about the in-game paths.

I was thinking of maybe designing a whole different version (maybe just including flavours as comparison or stuff that would be similar / in common there), would it be okay possibly nicknaming a link to this game as inspiration?

If you'd decline it, I'd be okay and not referring to it, just thought asking and also browsed on your profile if sharing it as suggestion to a forum's post then the direct comments of this game.

In general sharing its link to your game would just affect the statistics where the player probably heard of your game, which file is still no repost in that case. Anyway it feels more safe to ask if its okay, I could also mention the planned game if it's published in case you'd be okay getting your "Weeb's Wonka Game" being a reference in that game's description on itch-page/theme or rather having to connection e.g. by being just nicknamed on your personal profile only?

Not sure if I understand what you mean by a whole different version. If you're making another one with similar content, even if it uses a lot of the same structure, I don't mind, but if it's just going to be an enhanced version with extra endings and more polish, I'm not sure if I'm okay with that at this point in time.

I mean more like the first info, while actually maybe "just" some facts sounding inspired e.g. choco, sweets, golden-tickets or single fragments. No characters, places, nicks ...while my games being also affecting by the player's selected paths and including a variety of options, it's coded with a different engine (html only), and it won't be planned with optional endings, etc. connected to your game.

I think it sounds cool asking first if games sound inspiring, for referring to those in a quite different game, just slightly in reference anyway and more based on the fact that I like your game's storylines (I guess, if I'd be on youtube or twitch, and being a lets-play user, I'd think of asking for sharing a video-version when playing your game), while in my case I'm more the coding-person so that's why I was thinking of just adding your game's link as e.g. "inspired by this game" or similar text. Just if you'd be okay and not sure when exactly there's a published version being released yet, so far I'm more into scripting the story and designing its chapters, features, etc.

How do you get the "Milk Balloon" ending?

(+1)

To my understanding you must be at least obese (in order to walk into the stable and be heavy enough to trigger the pressure-plate) after that you must drink all the milk yourself. (it's been a bit since I've done this ending so I may be wrong)

This is correct. Spoilers, obviously, but https://pastebin.com/viYCgj7q has a full list of all endings and how to get them (please let me know if any are not working).

According to the list, you can pick the gum without starting the demonstration. However, there is no prompt to place it in your inventory after talking to Wonka.
Is this a bug or was it removed from the game

Edit: found it!
You need to ask Wonka for a demonstration and then a prompt will show to take the gum.
