He's not wrong. At first I was like "Yeah... that's about how I'd expect someone who dresses like that to be... yikes... she's a bit disturbing..." when you first meet her, but then slowly over time, I went from thinking "ehhh, I don't know about this girl..." to finding myself actually really thinking she's a really cool person, as unhinged as she can be. And that's before the scene that opens the story of her past as a 6 year old. I also never was into anything remotely "emo/goth/punk" (which are all muddled these days, I can hardly tell them apart), yet I still ended up finding myself growing to think she's purdy and cute. lol. So, not just great writing on her, but, great choice of character model, too lol.
