Interesting idea! The shapeshifting mechanic is really well done.
There seem to be some collider issues. Sometimes the enemy projectiles hit me even if they look like they were going to miss. Likewise, both mine and enemy projectiles often hit environmental objects even though it seems there enough space for them to pass through.
Also, I’ve found one possible exploit: sometimes when you move away from a triggered enemy and you get the “intruder left” message, you can move back towards the enemy and they won’t trigger again.
It’s a great jam entry. I haven’t finished it yet, but each time I manage to get a little bit further. It’s done well enough to keep me playing again and again. ;)
