A nice idea for a puzzle platformer! With a little bit of arena fighter, as I’ve noticed, since further corridors open only when you defeat all enemies in the area.
It does have a few quirks, though:
- the jumping can sometimes throw you very high in the air, especially if you’re trying to jump while touching a platform from the sides
- it takes a long time for enemies to notice I’ve shot them; many times I’ve shot the shadow twice already, but it still managed to come close and hit me before it dies
- the spikes on the floor should be way more visible, it’s too easy to walk into them on accident ;)
I like the idea. It’s great you intend to keep working on it. Can’t wait to see the updates! ;)
