I had the same problem with the boundaries, it was a last minute fix but not a good one. Before that you were able to go to the border of the screen but then you could get hit by asteroids off screen so I added the boundaries just after my last test so you had a chance to avoid asteroids every time. I should have made them visible I think. ^^
