Sorry it was a fan-made workaround but will add some gameplay features in the future. So far you can walk around and open up your shield and jump on enemies to kill them.
What enemies? I seem to be able to go in and out of the house or fall off the deck, but I can't seem to go anywhere where there are enemies.
