It’s quite a fun game!
I’ve thought of a few suggestions, but they all depend on how big the scale of the game should be. As it is now, it’s a fun small game, which is complete, so you can leave it as-is. If you want to add more to the game, here’s some suggestions:
- When I started the game, I lost a couple of times before I understood how to play the game. Not sure what’s the best way to solve this, as the game is designed to be moving fast. Maybe in the first few seconds, the game runs with a slow-down, so the user has the time to look around and understand what’s happening?
- I really think the spikes and the walls should be different colours, or in some way be able to tell them apart from each other. I understand that the game is using minimalistic design, so adding new colours is not that simple, but it took me a few times to figure out what’s hurting me and what’s helping me.
Well done for completing a game! That’s the hardest step of game dev!
