Thanx for the suggestions.
I believe the customers do say thank you but it does seem more of a "shy thank you". They turn around and leave while saying it so it's possible to miss it. I'll look into making it more obvious.
I do plan on adding a tax/rent system in the game.
I like the idea of adding a hunger system.
