Yes, there is an procedure that is spawning extra lasers I am looking into this one.
"Does your hitbox get bigger when you have Triple Laser? I swear I lost it constantly without getting hit."
Each laser has its own hitbox & the size of the ship's hurtbox should never change. It could be that the ships hurtbox is too big.
At any rate, there is new art coming for the player ship, and you can see what the hurtbox will look like in the next patch.
Will definitely get to these when I have an opportunity, working on other projects at the moment.
